Telemark La Skieda

‘Old style’ skiing has made a great comeback in the wide open spaces of the Livigno valleys. Every year Livigno organizes the Free Heel Fest, a week of events that promotes this traditional technique.
During "LA SKIEDA - FREE HEEL FEST" Livigno hosts many events such as: Telemark gear fest, photo contest, film festival, excursions for medium and expert telemarkers, competitions in traditional costume, cultural evenings with films and slide shows, dinners in alpine huts, campfire festival and the renowned Trepallina with an open air BBQ, music and dancing, storytelling, tales and legends with over 800 telemarkers from all over the world.
